The first course on the basics of teaching Persian-Farsi story-writing techniques was completed with the teaching of Ms. Arifeh Rouen. The last class at the end of the course on the basics of story writing was held on May 17, 2024, with the attendance of students and literary enthusiasts from various countries, including Afghanistan and Iran.
This practical and comprehensive educational program spanned two months, comprising eight instructional sessions conducted by Ms. Rouen. The course was designed to equip participants with a wide array of practical skills. It covered topics such as the principles of storytelling, character creation, story structure, descriptions, and writing techniques in fiction.
At the beginning of the course, Ms. Rouen introduced the syllabus and objectives of the program. She emphasized that the primary goal of this course was to empower students and enthusiasts in crafting short and long stories using modern storytelling techniques.
During this phase, students and participants were introduced to basic storytelling concepts like plot, character development, dialogue writing, and descriptive writing. Ms. Rouen has provided both theoretical and practical instruction to dear participants by presenting numerous examples from classic and contemporary works.
Throughout the course, dear students and participants were required to complete various exercises, including writing short stories and analyzing other authors' works. These exercises were reviewed and critiqued in online group workshops, allowing students to benefit from each other's insights and experiences.
The basic course on the principles of story-writing organized by Mohajir Academy, by providing an online learning environment, has been able to help students and enthusiasts improve their skills in the field of story-writing and create literary and fiction works with more confidence.
Thus, this course served not only as an online educational experience leveraging the advantages of modern technology but also as a motivational journey for students and participants, guiding them along their writing path.
